I was informed today that a user encountered an error while trying to access a set of Captivate videos I created. It’s not an error we’re familiar with, but I see the good news in this problem.
A user was trying to watch the videos. Now that’s what I like to hear.
Yes, I’m downplaying the fact that as soon as someone is trying to use the training materials, there’s an error. We’ll work on that part, but the encouraging thing is hearing that someone is actively trying to use the training.

I was thrilled to bits when a programmer from another team sent me an email saying two of the steps in my tutorial were wrong, and how soon could I update the content with the correct steps?
On probing, it turned out she was using the tutorial to gain an “understanding” of how our product worked, and whether they could it integrate it with the product their team was creating. Turns out, their entire team was using the tutorial to play with our product (still in Beta).
