@Ben: Exactly. I suppose we could be the vultures who benefit from the victims of “Murphy’s Law”. I wonder if there’s a law for that too. “Handey’s Law” sounds pretty good.

For me, I think there’s also the pessimistic side causing reluctance—you know, the side that says, “I can feel that Murphy guy lurking around here. Something is going to go wrong.”

@Ben: Nice. That was exactly my philosophy for waiting to upgrade from WordPress 2.0 to 2.6 (last August 2008). My first upgrade. Of course, by doing this, future upgrades became easier. WP 2.7 in January 2009. Then WP 2.8 just a couple of week ago. Hmm, I guess it’s just the *first* upgrade that’s the toughest, lol. ^_^
