		<description>Although I initially rejected length as a key detail in blog posts, I am now coming around to the view that anything more than about 1,000 words won&#039;t be read. My long posts get just a few comments, if any. Short ones are much more popular. And my reading habits favor shorter posts too. It&#039;s just hard to keep the audience&#039;s attention in a long post, however hard you try.</description>
